Afghanistan Cricket Team plays against Scotland today

sportAfghanistan Cricket Team is set to play against Scotland in two ODIs series today at the Grange in Edinburgh city of Scotland.

The games will be played on July 4 and July 6 between the two countries and then Afghanistan will play against the Ireland on July 10.

Afghanistan cricket team plays in the international competitions after receiving a new Indian coach.

Earlier, former Pakistan cricket captain Inzamam-ul-Haq,46 , was the head coach of Afghanistan who is set to be appointed as Pakistan’s chief selector after he was released from his role as Afghanistan’s head coach.

Currently, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has named former India batsman Lalchand Rajput as the new head coach for their national team. He took over the position in April 2016 and playing against Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands is his first assignment in July and August.

The 46-year-old Inzamam guided Afghanistan to the Super 10 stage of the recent World Twenty20 in India, during which they defeated eventual champions West Indies. He had a contract with the Afghan board (ACB) until the end of the year.
