A number of Pakistani media outlets said that five men have reportedly been arrested by Afghan security forces.
The incident saw 150 children and teachers killed by seven Taliban gunmen at the Army Public School in Peshawar.
Sources to of the development have told to a local newspaper in Pakistan that the suspects are citizens of Pakistan are were involved in planning and coordinating the attack on Peshawar school last year.
No further details have been given regarding the identities of the detained individuals.
After Peshawor incident, Pakistani authorties including Pakistan’s Intelligence Chief Gen. Rizwan Akhtar have repeatedly came to Kabul urging to take steps to fight against terrorism in Afghanistan.
