Afghan Youths Wushu Competitions SwitchIn Kabul

Afghanistan youths Wushu competitions under the age of 16 years old kicked off with the participation of more than 320 athletes on Monday in Kabul.

The teams divided to four groups of ten teams that will compete against each other during a week period of time.

All teams presented in eight weight category in these competitions.

The winner of each weight will gain the permission of attending in Afghanistan Youths Wushu Championship Competitions.

Wushu is a series of fighting styles which has developed over a long historical period in China. Nowadays, it is regarded as a traditional sport gaining more and more popularity and even stands as a new sport in Afghanistan.

In the meantime, the semifinals of Kabul beach soccer Premiere league preparation matches tournament launched on Monday and the teams of 21th Century and Sidiqi by defeating Omid Afghan and Khawar qualified for the final round.
