Afghan leaders condemn Istanbul Airport attack

afghanAfghan leaders condemned the terrorist attack at Ataturk International Airport in Turkey that killed at least 36 people last night.

In a statement released by Afghan presidential palace said the people of Afghanistan feel the pain and suffering of the people of Turkey more than others, as we have been the victim of terrorism for years.

Both President Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah in separate messages said they were sadden by the attack and shared their condole  with the families of the victims and the government and people of Turkey.

In the statements it is said that Afghanistan considers terrorism a great threat for the security of the region and the world and joint action and well measured collective efforts is required by all countries against terrorism.

At least 36 people killed and about 147 others injured after three suicide bombers detonate explosives at Turkey’s biggest airport last night.
