Afghan CE Abdullah Abdullah’s Twitter account hacked

AbdullahThe official Twitter account of Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah has been hacked by unknown hackers late on Saturday.

Javid Faisal, a spokesman for the CE Abdullah confirmed in a tweet that “@afgexecutive” has been hacked by unknown hackers and our press and IT teams are trying to restore it.

@afgexecutive is the name of the official Twitter account of Afghanistan CE Abdullah with 43,000 followers which is also verified by Twitter company.

The last message tweeted from the account with Enlightenment Movement hashtags said,” I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery”.

Faisal called on all to ‘discredit anything’ coming from the hacked account until its restoration.

The account was tweeting all news related to the activities of the Chief Executive of Afghanistan.

The hackers has defaced the account bio and banner with their own data.

Currently the bio section of Dr. Abdullah’s Twitter account showing this message: “G4mm4 aka sam haxor was here! we are GSH! @G4mm4_haxor @ghostsquadhack.”

Ghost Squad Hackers (GSH) is a team of hackers who previously shut down many accounts and websites.
