The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) says a large number of Afghan investors based abroad are looking at investing in the country.

Mohammad Yunus Mohmand, deputy head of ACCI, has urged the Islamic Emirate government to provide more opportunities for investment.

The Ministry of Economy says however that there are special privileges for foreign investors who want to invest in Afghanistan.

This is while the caretaker government has repeatedly asked Afghan investors who are abroad to return home and invest in the country.

According to experts, the private sector plays an essential role in the growth and expansion of the country’s economy, and once more attention is paid to this sector, the country will develop and jobs will be provided.
