ACCI says Afghanistan exports more than 132 tones of fresh fruits to foreign countries yearly and the traders this year want to export a large number of fruits through air to Delhi, India.
Deputy spokesman of ACCI, Khan Jan Alkozay said, “traders are trying to standardize the country’s exports and the country’s also considers subsides through the air.”
Ariana airlines officials say the transfer of fresh fruits to India will begin in June 15 next month.
Afghan traders and merchants expressed optimism over the transfer of fresh fruits through the air.
Rapes, melons, pomegranates, apples and cherries are the most popular fresh fruits of Afghanistan.
According to officials, India is considered one of the biggest markets for fresh fruits of Afghanistan.
