ABP thwart Taliban attacks in the past 24 hours

Afghan Border Police (ABP) thwarted ten armed opposition attacks in Kunar, Nangahar, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Herat and Faryab provinces in the past 24 hours, authorities said Thursday.

Afghanistan border police press office in a statement has said that in the armed opposition attacks three civilians were killed and one another wounded.

The sources added that Afghan border police recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition after thwarting these attacks.

The Afghan Border Police (ABP) secure Afghanistan’s 5,529 kilometers (3,436 mi) border with neighboring countries and all its international airports.
