50 people were killed and more than 70 others injured in a traffic accident on Kabul-Kandahar highway, police official said on Sunday.
“The incident occurred early this morning on Kabul-Kandahar highway in Muqor district of Ghazni province,” a provincial traffic police official, Muhammadullah Ahmadi, told Ariana News.
A 303 long-distance bus collided with a fuel tanker in Muqor district locality, leaving 50 people dead and at least 70 others injured, the source added.
“Both of the vehicles burned in fire after they collided,” he continued.
