(Last Updated On: August 4, 2014)

At least four Afghan National Army (ANA) Soldiers were killed and four others sustained injuries as a result of bomb blast in south of Kabul, officials said.

The Ministry of Defense said the incident happened on Monday when an ANA patrol vehicle came under attack. But the source didn’t indicate the exact explosion site.

So far no group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, however, the defense ministry linked the blast to armed oppositions.

The ministry of defense in a press release has strongly condemned the attack and said such attacks would never weaken morale of security forces.
