32-km Road Inaugurated in Farah, Costed AFN 471 Million

vlcsnap-2017-04-28-18h30m13s10632-km road has been inaugurated in western Farah province that connects Jawen district to the center of the province, officials said Friday.

The Minister of Public Work, Mahmud Baleegh, who inaugurated the road in the province said: ” The road is 32 km-long and has costed about 471 million Afghanis.”

Baleegh added: “Work on Bagh, Abu-ul- Nasr Farahi and central roads will be started very soon.”

Local officials urged implementation of other large transit-roads projects in the province.

Mohammad Asif Nang, the provincial governor said: ” The Public Work Minister inaugurated the road and promised on the implementation of other projects that makes the residence hopefull.”

The Provincial Council Chief, Jamila Amini urged Public Work Ministry to build the Abu-ul-Nasr Farahi road which according to her it plays a significant role in the economic development of the province.
