Russians protested against Putin’s candidacy in Presidential Elections

Thousand of government opponents launched huge protest against the Russian Prime Minister Putin’s nomination in upcoming presidential elections.

About 50 thousand people participated in the protest that was called last Saturday in Moscow and about 9 thousand Russian security forces were positioned to maintain the security during the demonstration.

Opposition leaders in other Russian cities also announced that they will launch protest Putin’s candidacy.

Meanwhile, about 15 thousands Russian government supporters also marched in the favor of Putin’s candidacy in Russian’s Presidential Elections.

The protests against and in the favor of Putin are called in such time that the Presidential Elections are going to be hold in next 4 weeks and Prime Minister Putin is among the top candidates.

It’s mentionable that Mr. Putin has served as Russian President for two terms before electing as Prime Minister.
