AWCC Offers Better Telecommunication Facilities in Kandahar

Kandahar residents will be provided better telecommunication services after the installation of advanced telecommunication equipments by Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC).
AWCC chairman Amin Ramin in his visit to Kandahar Province said in near future, AWCC customer services centers and signal towers would activated in remote districts of the province.
Amin Ramin in a press conference attended by Asadullah Khalid Minister of Frontier Affairs, ethnic groups and tribes and a number of government officials in Kandahar, assured the people that in near future with the installation of new advanced equipments, AWCC telecommunication services will be increased in the province.
About 21 other AWCC signal towers will be activated within next two weeks in Kandahar which enables the people to have better access to the telecommunication services.
Frontier Affairs Minister Asadullah Khalid and President Karzai’s representative for West while appreciating AWCC’s services, the first telecommunication company in Afghanistan, said this company has created many ease for having better access to the telecommunication services and also has solved the problems of Kandahar residents.
AWCC is the first telecommunication company that started its activities from war-torn province Kandahar and still continued. AWCC is having about more than five hundred thousand subscribers in this province.
