Afghanistan beats Bermuda, reaches into T20 qualifier final

Afghanistan cricket team on Tuesday defeated Bermuda by 17 runs in a T20 qualifier semi-final match and certainly made its place into the finals.
In the semi-final match against Bermuda, the Afghan cricket team captain Nuwroz Mangal won the toss and elected to be first which then came out a best decision. The fast scoring of Afghan batsman Mohammad Shahzad that scored 64 runs led to a 177 total score.
But Bermuda cricket team was smashed down by Afghan bowlers 17 runs ahead of reaching to the target. Afghan bowler Aftab Alam sent three opponent players back to the pavilion and was the best bowler of the side. Muhammad Shahzad for his all-round performance was presented the man of the match award.
The Afghanistan and Namibia cricket teams since the beginning of the T20 qualifier tournament up to now have been the unbeaten teams of their groups and the tournament.
In the final, to be played on Wednesday, Afghanistan will take on the Group B leader. Namibia and Ireland are in contention for the slot.
The winner team will make its way to the T20 World Cup championship which will be played from September 18 to October 7 in Sri Lanka.
