Shafiqullah Shafaq Smashes Double Century in Local T20 Tournament

Afghan wicketkeeper-batsman Shafiqullah Shafaq has struck an unbeaten 214 in a T20 match in Paragon Nangarhar Champions Trophy.

Playing for the Khateez Cricket Academy, the right-hander scored quick fire 214 runs off just 71 balls, including 21 sixes and 16 fours against the Kabul Star Cricket Club team.

Talking to CricTracker, Shafiqullah has confirmed his achievement and expressed happiness of playing such a knock with his brother Waheedullah Shafaq for company, who scored 81 from just 31 balls.

Shafaq is among the players who play for Afghanistan  national team. He has played 35 T20I matches and scored 392 runs in total. His strike rate is 143.06 and his highest score in T20Is is 51 not out.
