vlcsnap-2017-03-28-17h54m50s141Parliament votes of confidence for top security officials embark harsh reaction of Afghan Senators; calling some MPs self-interested and jobber.

“Previously, they reacted to disqualify these officials and now their decisions changed and voted for them,” said Senator Gulalay Akbari.

“Without a doubt, some of the representatives prefer their own interests not the national interest,” said Gul Ahmad Azami.

Some of other Senators considered the decision of the lower house regrettable.

“It is unfortunate that the security officials gained the votes of confidence. Because of them the security is deteriorating day by day,” said Senator Muhammad Azim Quyash.

A number of Afghan people also called security officials inefficient and self-interested.

“The illiterate lawmakers were afraid of President’s warning about the cancelation of parliament,” said one of Kabul residents.

Some of lawmakers also said that a number of MPs have failed in their decisive test that voted for security officials.
