Wolesi Jirga to impeach Hajj and Islamic Affairs Minister

A number of Wolesi Jirga members demand to re summon Hajj and Islamic affairs minister.
They say that afghan pilgrims are facing difficulties with traveling to Saudi Arabia, up to now 750 pilgrims still waiting to go to Saudi Arabia.
Speaker of Wolesi Jirga says to approve the minister’s summon 20% percent of member of the house should request to summon Hajj and Islamic Affairs Minister.
The Hajj and Islamic Affairs Minister Mohammad Yusuf Niazi was called to Wolesi Jirga last week to provide information about the transfer of afghan pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and problems in the process, reported by Fareeda Soma ATN reporter.
A number of MPs on Monday session said that they are not satisfied with information provided by the Hajj and Islamic Affairs Minister and pilgrims are facing problems in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.
Arif Rahmani member of Wolesi Jirga blamed Hajj and Islamic Affairs Minister for his failure in the process of transfer of afghan pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and he also demand to summon the minister.
But Abdul Raouf Ibrahimi speaker of Wolesi Jirga confirmed the difficulties in the process of transfer of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and said:
If Wolesi Jirga demands to re summon Hajj and Islamic affairs minister, 20% percent of MPs should request.
Last week Hajj and Islamic Affairs Minister said, about twenty six thousand afghan pilgrims have gone to Saudi Arabia and the rest of pilgrims will be transferred in next two or three days.
But now only limited days remain for Hajj ceremony, as member of Wolesi Jirga say about 750 pilgrims still waiting to go to Saudi Arabia.
