Twin suicide attacks left 26 dead and wounded in Kandahar

On Saturday the first suicide attack occurred at 12:30 Pm in Choni Zamani area 1 of Kandahar and the suicide bombers tried to take the car inside police station which was full of explosives. Officials said: The explosion occurred when Police soldiers started gun shot towards suicide bombers and most of victims were children. Kandahar’s Governor Office said: The second blast occurred minutes later in same area near to Police check post.
Abdul Qayom Pikhla head of Public health said: At least 2 people were killed and 24 others were wounded in twin suicide attacks. According to him; 14 children and women are included among the wounded people. These blasts occurred in Kandahar while the people traffic has been increased because of reach of Eid.
