Transport Ministry revenue has increased 40%

With monitoring the ports, the revenue of departments related to the Ministry has increased, said officials at the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.

Nangyalai Qalatwal, the spokesperson of Ministry of Transport and civil Aviation told a press conference in Kabul that the revenue of the Ministry has increased by 40% this year.

Mr. Qalatwal said “the revenue increased due to proper monitoring of ports. The government earned 27 million Afghanis only on the eastern and western gates of Kabul,.

Similarly, Mr. Qalatwal said to prevent administrative corruptions, they will expand their supervision over all departments of the ministry.

Mr. Qalatwal while confirming the Ministry challenges told that efforts are ongoing to eliminate the existing challenges.

Meanwhile, various Afghan merchants and businessmen said obtaining illegal extortions on the entrance routes of Kabul city has been declined.

While the merchants, had always been complaining the illegal extortions on the Kabul highways.
