The ratio of violence against women increased: AIHRC

According to Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission report, the ratio of violence against women has increased in Afghanistan.
On the basis of this report, more than 34 thousands cases of violation against women have been recorded in current year which shows that violation against women has increased as comparing with last year.
The report includes the number of violation cases since the establishment of this Commission.
The report also showed that thirty nine thousands five hundred and thirty two cases of violations against women have been recorded in Afghanistan since the establishment of this commission.
The report says that more than 13 thousands of these cases are physical violations, more than 3 thousands are sexual violations and about 10 thousand are wrong language violations.
97% of violations against women are performed by men, Commission officials said.
Non punishment of Human rights violators and the culture of impunity are the serious challenges to human rights in Afghanistan, AIHRC Commission Sima Samar said.
