Terrorists have lost their bases in Afghanistan: Interior Ministry

Afghan Interior Minister, after announcing the second phase of security transition to Afghan forces, says that insurgents have lost their bases in Afghanistan.
Interior Minister Bismillah Muhammadi in his visit of various police departments told about the destruction of all sites and habitats of rebels in Afghanistan.
Now police are present even in the most insecure parts of Afghanistan, he added.
For the better implementation of security transition process, Interior Ministry efforts to increase the capacity of police forces, Interior Minister added.
Recently, Interior Ministry has launched a three-day seminar to enhance the capacity and ability of police.
Dozens of Afghan police commanders have attended the seminar from all over Afghanistan.
Second phase of security transition to Afghan forces has been recently announced and its implementation would able Afghan security forces to have the responsibility of half-Afghanistan.
On the other hand, Bonn Conference is scheduled to be held next week. Although government branches consider the funding of Afghan forces difficult for the government after 2014 but the treaty revised of donor countries for Afghanistan from 2014 to 2024 would be the agenda of Bonn conference.
