Taliban warns Nangarhar Mullahs not to perform funeral prayers on government security forces

Taliban have warned the religious mullahs in eastern Nangarhar province not to perform funeral prayer on any Government Security Officials.
Local officials in Nangarhar claims it has been a while that mullahs don’t’ attend or recite prayers on any Government security personnel’s funeral
Taliban have established checkpoints at Chaperhar, Khugiani,Bitycoot, Hessarak, Chaperagum, and shirzaad district of Nangarhar province. They stop vehicles and search for Government employee, Officials added.
Haji Abdul Aziz Khairkhwa, a member of Ministry of Relegiuse affairs said Taliban collects tithe in some districts of Nengarhar province.
The governor spokesman Ahamd Zai Abdulzi confirmed the challenges in the districts level and added the efforts are underway to clear the area form Taliban.
The insecurity is not limited to above mentioned districts. The districts bordering with Pakistan faced with insecurity challenges. Experts says poor government rule is the main reason for increase of insurgency in the mentioned districts.
