He warned the drug traffickers to be prosecuted by police and justice agencies. He also informed about the arrest of a big drug smuggler from western Nimroz province who was under pursuance of security forces.
Mr. Ahmadi said the man is called Eisa and over the past year and a half, he has smuggled more than ten tons of drugs to Pakistan and Iran. His name was in the list of ten major drug dealers that are under pursuance of security agencies.
List of major drug traffickers in the country, was created ten years ago at the Ministry of Interior but the listed names are not clear yet.
Several times, high ranking government officials had claimed that many government circles are involved in drug trafficking but so far, the government has failed to identify these individuals and circles, and to hand over them to the justice institutions.
