Second AUB branch opened in Jalalabad city

The Afghan United Bank (AUB) opened its second branch on Sunday in Currency Exchange Market of Jalalabad City.
AUB representative for Eastern Afghanistan; Mr. Asadullah said, “The Afghan United Bank had a branch far from currency market and there, the traders and businessmen were usually threatened thus the bank opened another branch inside the currency exchange market for the ease of customers.
The new branch is opened to facilitate the money changers and dealers, he added.
The officials of Afghan United Bank and businessmen said the expansion of banking services in this province is very effective for the economic growth.
While the first branch of AUB was opened about three years ago in Jalalabad City.
The money changers while expressing gladness with the opening of a new AUB branch said the bank branches have a positive impact on the regional economic growth.
