People’s role important to eliminate administrative corruption

Although, president Karzai has said that lack of law enforcement and international community’s cooperation are among the main problems in countering administrative corruption in Afghanistan, officials of transparency organization told in a seminar.
The seminar was aimed to fasten efforts in fights against administrative corruption in the country, officials of transparency organization said.
According to Taimor Kakar official of transparency organization, people have the real power; therefore they must decide what is important. They must demand authorities for transparent government and justice and authorities should respect their demands.
Transparency organization officials criticized international community role in extending administrative corruption in Afghanistan and called for international organizations cooperation to control administrative corruption in country.
Administrative corruption is the biggest challenge in Afghanistan and has always been criticized by international community and Afghan people.
Afghan government has promised in second Bonn Conference that they will start new efforts to counter administrative corruption in country.
