Judicial Organs faced with professional staff shortages

Stera Mahkama or the Supreme Court of Afghanistan says lack of professional staff is one of the major challenges to the country’s judicial organs.
In his speech to the graduation ceremony of 123 new judges, Chief Justice of Afghanistan Abdul Salam Azimi urged the graduates to dedicate themselves to working honestly for the elimination of corruption from the judicial institutions of the country. 23 of the new judges are women.
During the 27th graduation ceremony at the Supreme Court, Azimi said lack of professional service workers were one of the major problems facing the judicial organs.
Prosecution of corruption cases, embezzlement, land grabbing, family conflicts and hundreds of other existing social problems in Afghanistan are among the challenges that must be confronted by the justice and judicial organs.
