International Community will continue support until Afghan Army become self-sustaining

Afghan Defense Ministry Spokesman in a press conference on Wednesday in response to the sayings of former US ambassador that Afghan government would not be able to fund its Army after 2014; said that International community has a long-term commitment to Afghanistan.
Afghan Defense Ministry Spokesman Gen. Zahir Azimi said:
“They will discuss the issues of funding Afghan Army in the meeting of NATO defense ministers and 2nd Bonn Conference”.
Mr. Azimi, about the results of operations of the sword in the provinces of Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Ghazni and Logar, told that:
“Hundreds of armed insurgents were killed and injured in this operation, and hundreds of others have fled to the border”.
The numbers of armed insurgents have been compelled to negotiate with the government as they have no more ability to continue face to face war with Afghan forces and therefore the Taliban plant mines and involved in roadside explosions but Afghan forces will continue their war against terrorism.
According to him:
To prevent such attacks, they have launched operation named “Hope” and will continue till next 18 months.
He said that this operation is aimed to suppress Haqqani Network.
