Sayed Makhdom Rahin; Minister of Culture and Information Affairs said that:
“None of the cities that are so far introduced as Center of Islamic Culture by Islamic World Cultural Organization can compete with Ghazni City in respect of spiritual and material status but the unfortunate is the current situation of the city”.
ATN reporter Muhammadullah Momand reported that:
The time for introducing Ghazni City as Center of Islamic Culture become close, Sayed Makhdom Rahin; the minister of culture and information affairs called Ghazni is unique city in regard of culture bloomy.
Sayed Makhdom Rahin; Minister of Culture and Information Affairs said that:
Other cities were also introduced as center of Islamic Culture in past years but none of those cities had the importance, affects and great scientific, cultural and arts of Islamic World.
Mr. Rahin, calling the current situation of Ghazni as coffin of a dead said that:
“Ghazni city had witnessed more incidents than other Afghan cities during the past years and due to that the city situation is dusty and stained today”.
All these views come in such time that UNESCO has declared to introduce Ghazni as Center of Islamic Center in 2013.
