Each criminal gets penalty in Baghlan: Appellant Court

This year a large number of defendants were caught by the security institutions, especially police and the Baghlan Court has set penalty based on their cases.
“This year 3 people were sentenced to death for murder cases, 24 people were sentenced to imprisonment lasting from 16 to 20 years, 53 people were imprisoned for 5 to 15 years, 134 people were sentenced for 1 to 5 years, 148 people were sentenced for 24 hours to 1 year and 120 other people have been fined” Baghlan appellant Court Chief, Muhammad Rahim Karimi said.
Twice a week, they hold open meetings for the settling defendants’ cases after which the cases are soon determined.
