Dark Glassed vehicles not permitted in Balkh: Balkh police officials

The Balkh Police chief reported that the enforcement limitation on dark-glassed vehicle movements in Mazar city would increase.
The police officials say they have deployed police forces in all the avenues to collect and stop the dark-glassed vehicles.
Balkh police spokesman Shirjan Durani said based on the President’s decree; from now on no dark- glassed vehicles will be permitted to move inside the city.
The Balkh residents have welcomed the police actions against the dark-glassed vehicles and said the dark film inside the vehicles prevents others from seeing inside the vehicle which can provide cover for any type of crime to be committed, especially kidnapping cases.
The cleaning and collecting process of dark-glassed vehicles has been done in the different cities of Afghanistan but without stable results.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs has said that the enforcement of such limitations can bring positive impact on the security condition in the country by ending opportunities for non-compliers to remain hidden behind the dark glass while committing crimes.
