Central Bank branch looted by guards in Nuristan

A branch of Da Afghanistan Bank was looted by its own guards in the eastern province of Nuristan, provincial authorities said.
Muhammad Zarin, head of press office of Nuristan’ governor, confirmed the incident occurred late Thursday night.
He said ten million Afghanis were available in the bank but the exact stolen amount of money was unclear so far.
He informed that the security officials had arrested four guards of the bank and two policemen accused of robbing the bank, and investigations were underway.
