Bayat Foundation helps dozens of poverty-stricken families in Nangarhar

The Bayat Foundation assisted 180 destitute families living in tents in Nangarhar Province.
The families recently returned from Pakistan received medicines, warm clothes, and blankets.
While distributing the emergency assistance, the chairman of the Bayat Foundation, Engineer Ehsanullah Bayat, said, “These families were seriously in need of help in such a cold weather. The aid convoy of the foundation will soon reach the other eastern provinces of Afghanistan,” he added.
Meanwhile, those families who have benefited from this aid expressed gratitude with the assistance of Bayat Foundation and said, “Thankfully, we received the assistance which we were waiting for in such harsh conditions.” The families also requested help from other charitable institutions.
While in Nangarhar, Engineer Ehsanullah Bayat also visited a school and distributed warm clothes and jackets to the students. Mr. Bayat further promised to help with the costs of school books and bags for the students in the near future.
The mobile clinic of Bayat Foundation also came to the Nangahar to provide treatment assistance to indigent families.
Besides winter emergency aid, the Bayat Foundation has been contributing to Afghanistan’s infrastructure by building schools, hospitals and mosques.
