Bayat Foundation assisted the disabled in Kunduz

Bayat Foundation assisted various disabled in Northern Kunduz Province. The assistance includes food items, warm clothes and other necessities and were distributed among the disable through the Social Affairs Department of Kunduz.

While distributing the assistance among the needy and disable people, Deputy Chairman of Bayat Foundation, Haji Muhammad Ismail said that the aim of this assistance is to support the poor and needy families in extreme cold weather as they often face economic problems in winter.

Haji Ismail added that Bayat Foundation has distributed winter assistance in Kabul, Herat and Parwan and will extend this series of assistance with the needy people of other provinces, after Kunduz.

Mrs. Masooma Yaqeen, the director of Kunduz Social Affairs said that although government pays some salary to disabled but that’s not sufficient for them. She considered that Bayat Foundation assistance will solve some of these people problems.

On the other hand, the disabled people praised Bayat Foundation assistance and called it most effective and timely assistance with them. Meanwhile, they asked other welfare originations to help them.

Besides assisting the poor and needy people, Bayat Foundation is playing major role in the construction of schools, mosques and hospitals country wide.
