Following the detention of certain police officials in Baghlan province, the provincial security commander warned all police officers to behave according to law, otherwise they may be punished.

He was talking at the graduation ceremony of local police.

Some security officials have been detained for violating law and having links in thefts.

Security commander of one of Baghlan districts, deputy commander of police station of Pul-a-Khumri and 5 national police officers and 2 local police were among the detainees.

The detainee’s cases are under investigation.

Security Commander of Baghlan Province, Gen. Asadullah Sherzad while talking at 72^nd graduation ceremony of local police, warned policemen that they may be punished for breaking laws.

Whenever police officials violate laws, people have the right to withdraw them from police duties, Baghlan provincial council deputy Asadullah Shahbaz said.
