Afghanistan Ambassador in Pakistan urges a stop to rocket attacks

No evidence or documents showed that the Taliban have entered Pakistan from Afghanistan soil, according to Ambassador Daudzai, Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan.

Many insurgent shelters are located in the Qabahil region of Pakistan.  From there, Pakistani Taliban have launched attacks into both Islamabad and Kabul.

The Deputy Ambassador of Afghanistan was summoned by Pakistani Officials to review the reports of armed Taliban attacks from Afghanistan soil, said Omer Daudzai, Afghanistan’s Ambassador in Pakistan.

Pakistani officials claimed that 7 Pakistani soldiers were decapitated by Taliban insurgents who came from Afghanistan soil but Omer Daudzai rejected Pakistani officials’ claims, saying that here is no evidence to support such allegations.  He said that there is no supportable evidence that the Taliban have entered Pakistan from Afghanistan soil.

The Afghan ambassador to Pakistan doesn’t agree with current tensions which are going on in between Pakistan and Washington.  He said that it will not benefit the region’s countries to have poor relations between them.  However, he did stress the importance of Pakistan’s bringing an end to the launch of rockets from Pakistan into Afghanistan.

Afghanistan’s Ambassador in Islam abad stressed that insurgents are the enemies of both Kabul and Islam abad and added insurgents are living in Qabahil region of Pakistan.

Related to rocket attacks from Pakistan in eastern region of Afghanistan have provoked the tensions of eastern residents brought their concerns up Kunar resident of Afghanistan has demanded Government to pay deep attention.

Meanwhile Daudzai Afghanistan Ambassador said Pakistani officials have been notified.
