A two-day workshop for cultural cooperation between government agencies held in Kabul

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized two-day workshop on “Cultural Cooperation between Government institutions” in Kabul.
Dr. Zalmai Rassoul, the Afghan Foreign Affairs Minister said at the opening session of workshop that Afghanistan has a great history and heritage and strengthening cultural diplomacy has important role to represent the country on regional level.
The participants would effort to make a plan for extending cultural coordination among government agencies. The participants said “the lives of people are according to their culture therefore serious efforts should be taken in this regard.”
The officials said they are trying to encourage government agencies for cultural coordination. In the workshop, the participants considered to survey the last year’s activities of culture department of foreign ministry.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized this workshop in such a time that there is always criticism about lack of coordination among government institutions.
Various experts said the coordination among government institutions is most important for a successful and efficient system.
