3 vocational training projects signed

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has signed 3 vocational training projects with 2 different private companies on Saturday in Kabul said officials.
The projects would be implemented in the provinces of Kundoz, Laghman and Ghor which provides education for about 960 persons in 23 fields.
The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Hassamuddin Hamrah, said during the signing of the contracts, “These projects will last for 9 months in the provinces.”
Officials at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs said, “The projects will be implemented based on market demands.”
Conducting vocational training for the younger generation is one of the priority programs of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
During the past years the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has implemented a lot of vocational training projects across the country and hundreds of youth have been trained.
The deputy minister Wasil Noor Muhmand said, “So far 47,000 young men have received training and have been able to find jobs.”
He said, ”Their programs are in progress and try to target more young people to help them find jobs in the markets.”
