3 Afghan Police killed, 9 injured in Kandahar assault

At least three Afghan police were killed and 9 others injured after insurgents attacked a security checkpost in southern Kandahar.
Kandahar Police Chief Gen. Abdul Razzak said the incident occurred on Tuesday morning when four militants attacked security forces after storming the security shell in the Old city of Kandahar.
He confirmed three Afghan Police were killed as well as all the assailants during the clashes that lasted for an hour.
