Senator Ehsanullah Bayat inaugurates Bibi Maryam School in Herat

The Bibi Maryam School has begun operations in the Qeran village of western Herat province following the completion of construction works by the Bayat Foundation.
Attending the inaugural ceremony were the Chairman of the Bayat Foundation, Senator Ehsanullah Bayat; his deputy Hajji Muhammad Ismail; the Governor of Heart, Mr. Daud Shah Saba; and several other influential people and tribal elders.
The school consists of 8 large classrooms and other necessary items. The land for the school was donated by Muhammad Juma Adeel, the general commander of Kabul International Airport.
Previously, the students had faced many problems in this region including the lack of a school building. Prior to the completion of the Bibi Maryam School they received educational instruction under open skies.
Senator Bayat addressed the inaugural ceremony, and said, “With the opening of Bibi Maryam School, many of the problems the students face will be solved.”
Pledging further help to the poor communities throughout the country, Engineer Ehsanullah Bayat said the Bayat Foundation will continue to build schools to expand education and help students in many parts of the country.
During the inauguration ceremony, Maryam Bayat represented Fatima Laya Bayat. As the main operator of the programs of the Bayat Foundation in Afghanistan, Fatima Bayat has promised that the Foundation will continue its assistance to the education and health sectors including emergency relief programs for the victims of natural disasters.
Appreciative of the honorable performances of the Bayat Foundation, the Governor of Herat Daud Shah Saba urged other organizations to strive like the Bayat Foundation to rebuild the infrastructure, especially the education sector in Afghanistan.
At the conclusion of the inaugural ceremony, Governor Saba and the Education Chief presented citations to the Chairman of the Bayat Foundation, Senator Ehsanullah Bayat, and to his deputy Hajji Muhammad Ismail.
The Bayat Foundation is one of the leading charitable organizations in Afghanistan and plays a key role in contributing to the ongoing improvements to Afghanistan’s health and education sectors. It also provides emergency relief assistance to victims of natural disasters in Afghanistan.
The Bayat Foundation also contributes to the construction of Mosques, Religious places, Orphanages, Libraries, and roadways throughout the country.
