Construction and renovation projects ended in Paktia province

These projects included the building of Governor Office, sports stadiums, hall for Board meetings and 12 km of road construction.
The project costs were more than seven million dollars.
On the other hand, construction work of mechanical school also began in the province.
The building of Governor Office was constructed at the sum of eight hundred thousand dollars by the budget of local bodies, Gardez City Stadium to cost seven hundred thousand dollars and hall for Board meetings was constructed at the sum of eight hundred and forty thousand dollars by the Ministry of Counter Narcotics and 12 kilometers sub-roads of Gardez was also constructed at the sum of 4 million and four hundred thousand dollars by the Ministry of Urban Development.
The construction work of mechanical high school also began in Paktia province to cost six hundred thousand dollars.
Paktia Governor Juma Khan Hamdard said:
The projects costs are paid by the Ministry of Counter Narcotics to prevent poppy cultivation in the province.
Athletes of Paktia province also welcomed the construction of sports stadium but said:
The stadium is not built according to plans and the government should investigate the issue.
