vlcsnap-2016-12-13-15h36m55s60A number of Afghan senators have called the Taliban and Russia relations shameful; citing the Taliban group does not adhere to the principles of Islam.

Chairman of the Upper House of Parliament, Fazlulhadi Muslimyar said that any cooperation of countries with terrorist groups is a clear intervention and must be prevented.

“Interfering in our country’s affairs is not in interest of any country. Russia or any other countries must not enjoy the good behavior of Afghans. We are so sorry to the faith and Jihad of Taliban who vowed to fight against blasphemy, but they urge assistance and aids from Russia, it is very shameful,” said Fazlulhadi Muslimyar, chairman of Senate.

Meanwhile, a number of other senators emphasized that Russia has delivered many weapons to the Taliban group.

“Russia’s relation with Taliban is alarming, seeing Russian modern weapons in hands of militants indicate that Russia supports Taliban for its interest,” said Senator Nesar Haris.

Senator Jomauoddin Geyanwall also said, “Russia delivers advanced weapons to Taliban in cooperation with Iran. Competitive war should be prevented in Afghanistan.”

Afghan Senators stressed that Afghanistan’s stability is in interest of the region and if any regional country ignore it, terrorism will expand in many regional countries.
