An Afghan National Army (ANA) Soldier was injured in a magnetic bomb blast Sunday morning in capital Kabul, officials confirmed.
The explosion occurred around 9:15am in an ANA vehicle in which the vehicle driver was injured, deputy spokesman of interior ministry, Najibullah Danish said.
He added no other soldiers or civilians were harmed in the explosion.
The bomb blast took place as tight security measures have been taken in the capital Kabul for the Presidential inauguration ceremony.
Hundreds of international and national guests have been invited in the oath-taking ceremony of President-elect Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.
