Conference “Trade with India” held in Mazar-e-Sharif

The conference “Trade with India” was organized by General Consulate of India in Northern Afghanistan through which Afghan merchant were called to participate in International Clothes Exhibition and which is going to be hold in Nov 2011 in New Delhi, India and benefit from the facilities of that exhibition.
ATN reporter Muhammad Bashir Ansari reported from Mazar:
Various Afghan merchants of Faryab, Sir-a-Pul, Jawzjan, Samangan and Balkh provinces were invited to participate in this conference.
Trade Officials of India and Afghanistan stressed on finding new ways of boosting trade ties between the two countries.
Cherain Thomas, Indian general council in Mazar-e-Sharif said:
“We encouraged Afghan merchants to benefit from special privilege of a tax amnesty”.
“India’s small and medium technology and industrial exhibitions will be launched which will be helpful to improve Afghanistan’s industrial sector”.
India has being one of the main countries who take major part in reconstruction of Afghanistan. India has granted millions dollars for reconstruction of Afghanistan, especially in sectors of health, energy, roads and educations.
