Asian Development Bank has considered aiding $33 million to Balkh, Takhar and Jawzjan provinces for the construction of Dams, canals and strengthens of river coasts.
Officials of Water & Energy Ministry say that this amount will be set into operation till next two years in north Afghanistan.
According to ATN reporter Muhammad Basheer Ansari:
Engineer Khalid Ahmed, Chief of investment Sector and Water Resources Development of Ministry of Energy and Water who has visited to Mazar City says that Asian Development Bank has promised for $33 million aid to Northern provinces for 100 small and big projects.
These projects will be implemented till next two years and will begin from Balkh Province.
Takhar and Jawzjan provinces will also be benefited by these funds.
