Afghan National Held with 23 Passports in Islamabad

An Afghan national detained on Friday with 23 passports at Islamabad airport, Pakistani Dawn News reported.

The individual Azeemullah was intercepted when he was about to board Kabul-bound flight on Friday, Dawn newspaper said, cited from unnamed official.   

Twenty- two of the passports belonged to Afghan government officials and one to an Afghan civilian. All passports were stamped with Japanese visas, it said.

It added that the detainee has been handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency for further investigation.
