Officials in Ministry of Defense rejected sangin district control fall into Taliban hands, earlier local officials had confirmed that sangin district came under Taliban control and Afghan security forces did tactical retreat from sangin district of Helmand province.
Ministry of Defense Spokesman Dawlat Waziri said, “We totally reject the news, district control is not in the hands of the enemies, neither has fallen into Taliban hands nor it will and we will not let this happens, the Afghan security forces have full control of the district.”
Meanwhile experts declared that International players are playing complicated games in handing over the districts.
Political expert Zalmay Wardak said, “The main game changers are the International countries Afghan government can’t do nothing, losing controls of districts are the main games of the International countries showing their power off.”
“Afghan government provided necessary supplies for the following district two days ago, this is the new style of handing over the supplies for the enemies.” Political expert Ahmad Saiedi said.
Meanwhile Kabul resident Ahmad said, “Falling sangin district control to Taliban with all the equipment and supplies is the biggest damage for the government, the main story is behind the curtain.”
Losing district control in Helmand comes after Taliban brought Khujabahawodin district of Takhar province for some hours in the long run they were defeated back.
